Breaking the habit of negative thinking and self-talk.

Combating negative thoughts is imperative if we want a healthier mindset. Working in the field of Human Services, mental health and Substance Abuse counseling has allowed me to interact with different people from different walks of like. Through years of experience working with others it has been determined that  life experiences impacts each individual differently.
If one does not learn how to cope in a healthy way and reframe their negative thoughts to positive thoughts we become stuck in a unfavorable place. This unfavorable place can feel like you are not moving forward , helpless. hopeless, lost, rejected, unsuccessful just to name a few. You can have victory over your thoughts. Declare a positive thought for every negative thought that arise. You can replace the negative thought with a positive saying, quote, scripture, song, etc. The replacement should be free of drugs, alcohol, conflict, and or trauma. A safe place in the mind does not include any of these things.

Focused Goal: I will have a positive and healthy mindset!!
